This is actually more of a tree blog post than a garden blog post, since my garden at this point mostly consists of the Oregano Plants That Refuse To Die, invasive grasses and forbs, and three tomato plants that I put in yesterday. There’s also a mystery vegetable plant growing in one of my compost pile/pits.
The cool thing is that my peach tree is fruiting. It flowered back in February, making it through Austin Snowpocalypse 2010. When I got back from Haskell, I noticed that there were little fuzzy green peaches starting to grow! I haven’t counted, but it looks like there’s around 20-30 on there. I really hope they all make it, then I can have a peach party in May or June.

  2. Yeah, I think those are potatoes. That’s what ours look like. I wonder how long they take to regenerate or whatever the hell they do?
